John J Doyle Ltd was contracted by BI Electrical Services to complete chimney and flue surveys for Translink. When inspecting Translink Coleraine – Bus Engineering Depot, John J Doyle Ltd recommended that the chimney required a complete replacement as it was in very bad condition. BI Electrical Services awarded John J Doyle the contract to design, supply and install the chimney system.
Translink was founded in 1999 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is a public corporation in Northern Ireland which provides the public with transport within the region. It provides services all over Northern Ireland and Dublin on a daily basis.

Result
After completion of a survey, John J Doyle Ltd submitted a proposed design to BI Electrical Services that included a more efficient flue system. Once approved John J Doyle Ltd began the installation.
The installation was scheduled in for weekend works to minimise disruption during the working week for the Translink employees. First the existing chimney was dismantled. Then a new Dinak 250 Diameter chimney system was installed.
The installation was completed on time to be commissioned and with zero disruption to employees at the site.
