Selective Catalytic Reduction

Emission control to improve the world around us

Together with our partners – AXCES we are committed to improving the environment, we are continually researching improved technologies in the area of Flue emissions, with a special emphasis on reducing Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) levels.

By using Selective Catalytic Reduction, a depletion of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) levels in Exhaust and Flue emissions could be achieved of up to 95%, directly simultaneously it is possible to add additional separate catalyst (DOC = Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) for reducing HC and CO emissions by 50-90%, and PM emissions by 30-50%.

What is Selective Catalytic Reduction?

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) is an advanced active emissions control system that reduces tailpipe emissions of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) down to near Zero levels – reductions up to 250 mg/Nm³ – in newer generation diesel powered generators, power plant boilers and other combustions sources, with the catalyst AdBlue® being the key components of the system.

SCR systems can be installed:

– on new designs and retro-fitted subjected to site survey.

– for in and outside use, even containerised
