Result

John J Doyle Ltd was tasked by Harvey Group to design, supply and install individual flue stacks for Terumo BCT’s new premises with an allowance for future expansion.

John J Doyle Ltd sized the flues and support structure appropriate for two large, commercial steam boilers while complying with the Clean Air Act and local environmental requirements. John J Doyle Ltd determined that 400ø Dinak DW flue would be the most suitable product.

The masts were colour coded to architect and building control regulations.

The flue system and support structures were constructed off-site to minimise time on-site and working at heights. Then the flues were connected to the new steam boilers.

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19), relevant risk assessments were carried out and site working patterns were adjusted with safety measures introduced such as new van seating arrangements, hand sanitising stations, face masks and additional safe working procedures.

All chimney and flue products were supplied and installed CE Marked and compliant with European and regional standards.
