Materials Used
  • Dinak GE50+ 316L/304L stainless steel – 300mm ID / 400mm OD.
  • S235JR Steel for support structure.
Result

Once flue sizing calculations and structural drawings were agreed, the bolt cage was issued by John J Doyle for builder to cast into foundations prior to structure arriving.

The flue for the vertical rise was installed on the free-standing structure within the factory during the manufacturing stage to minimise the amount of working at heights onsite. Once delivered, the structure and flue were craned into position and bolted to the new base.

A Unistrut frame was installed as a secondary support for the horizontal flue connections.

Installation was complete over 3 days.
