Project Brief

The Northern Ireland Ambulance is located at Knockbracken Healthcare Park in Belfast. It’s service exists to improve the health and well-being of the people of Northern Ireland. There is currently 46 stations and deployment points spread over 5345 square miles, serving a population of over 1.8 million.

John J Doyle Ltd were contracted by Michael Nugent Ltd to supply and install a new flue system to suit a new condensing boiler.

Materials Used

Boiler manufactures supplied flue header kit and DINAK DWJ.

Result

The boilers were supplied with M+G plastic header kit, this was installed complete with it’s non-return valves.

As the M+G flue kit ended, it was converted to Dinak DWJ twin wall. This exited the plantroom and was installed with an inline drain.

The Dinak DWJ twin wall flue continued t0 exit to the outside and was then clipped to the building.

This was all completed within the allowed time frame and delivered on budget.
