Project Brief
John J Doyle Ltd provided new chimney installation at Glanbia Cheese food production plant in Portlaoise, Ireland. Glanbia Cheese are the leading mozzarella manufacturer in Europe, providing custom cheese making solutions to companies in over 30 countries around the world.
John J Doyle Ltd and Euro Gas Ltd established a valued partnership providing industrial boiler and chimney solutions throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Euro Gas Ltd contacted John J Doyle Ltd with drawings to install the new chimney system at Glanbia Cheese’s new production plant in Portlaoise.

Result
John J Doyle Ltd was awarded the contract at the early design stage. This meant that John J Doyle Ltd were able to provide detailed drawings, sizing calculations and experience to aid the design of the flue systems. Being involved at the initial drawing stage allowed for the planning for of fixing points, bracketry and special testing points required for environmental agency testing.
The project required 3 new 500ø twin wall systems connecting into new high efficiency boilers. The stainless steel flue system then raised approximately 3.5 meters, through the roof.
All chimney and flue products were supplied and installed CE Marked and compliant with European and regional standards.
